1 hurt after motorbike hits deer while making illegal pass on Hwy 141 in Klickitat Co. [Video]

KLICKITAT COUNTY Wash. (KPTV) – A motorcycle driver is injured after hitting a deer while making an illegal pass on Highway 141 in Klickitat County on Sunday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

At about 6:30 p.m., officers responded to Hwy 141 near Southwest Brislawn Road. The 21-year-old motorcycle driver was found injured and taken to a nearby hospital. There was no information released about the driver’s condition, but WSP did say they were wearing a USDOT-compliant helmet.

Following an initial investigation, police said the motorcycle driver was heading south on Hwy 141 when they passed another vehicle in a no-passing zone. As the bike merged back into the southbound lane, the motorcycle smashed into a deer.
