Police said crews on the scene in East Bethel on Saturday worked to save the man but he was declared dead at the scene.
EAST BETHEL, Minn. — A woman was injured and a man killed on Saturday afternoon when a turning SUV struck a motorcycle in Anoka County.
According to a press release from the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, multiple departments were called to East bethel around 3:30 p.m. Saturday on reports of a crash.
Officials said a woman driving an SUV was headed east on Fawn lake Drive Northeast when she attempted to turn left into a driveway. A motorcycle was behind the vehicle when it drove into the oncoming lanes of traffic and crashed into the driver’s side of the SUV, officials said.
