ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle.
The crash happened just after 4:30 a.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 321 near Kaufman Trail.
Lance Cpl. Brittany Glover said a Ford F450 was going north on 321 when they hit the pedestrian walking in the roadway.
The driver of the F450 was not injured.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
