15-year-old killed, others injured in shooting in Prince William County [Video]

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Prince William County Police Department said a 15-year-old boy was killed and three other people were injured in a shooting Monday night.

Police said that on June 3 at about 10:30 p.m., they responded to the 3700 block of Masthead trail in Triangle to investigate a shooting.

Officers said a a group of people were in a grass are near some homes when multiple shots were fired.

The group dispersed when police arrived.

Officers provided aid to two of the victims who had been shot.

The victims were transported to the hospital where the 15-year-old later died.

The other victim, a man, is expected to survive.

Another teen was also found at the scene suffering from a graze wound. He was treated at the hospital.

Police also received information about a fourth victim, another man, who had been shot and was taken to a hospital.
