CLEVELAND, Ohio — Two people died and another was injured following a Sunday morning crash in Ohio City.
Cleveland police confirmed that a two-vehicle accident happened about 5:50 a.m. on West 44th Street and Lorain Avenue. Paramedics pronounced a 58-year-old man dead at the scene. A 49-year-old woman was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
They were in the same car.
A 27-year-old man in the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital, but officials could not confirm his current condition.
The Cleveland police accident investigation unit is investigating what caused the accident.
