2 dozen train cars derailed in southeastern Nebraska, officials say [Video]

UNION, Neb. (WOWT) – Up to two dozen train cars were involved in a derailment in southeastern Nebraska on Tuesday night, officials said.

The derailment happened near Highway 75 and Foster Lane, around three miles south of Union, Neb., near the line between Cass and Otoe counties.

6 News learned on the scene 22 train cars ended up on their side while a tanker went sliding into the nearby Wolf Creek. At this time, it’s unclear what was in the tanker.

No injures have been reported in the incident.
