3 injured after UTV crash in remote Payette County [Video]

During the 4th of July, three people were injured after their UTV flipped down a steep hill near Dry Creek and Little Willow Road. Their condition is unknown.

PAYETTE, Idaho — Three people were rescued early Friday morning after they were injured in a UTV accident in remote Payette County.

The Payette County Sheriff’s Office said on Friday, officials received a report at 10:30 p.m. on July 4 that three people were involved in a UTV wreck near Dry Creek Road and Little Willow Road. The crash happened after the driver attempted to go up a steep hill and crashed. 

The sheriff’s office said finding the crash site was difficult because of the steep terrain. A St. Luke’s helicopter found the three injured people around 3 a.m. and flew two out with “critical injuries.” The third was taken out of the area by UTV.
