Small airplane crashes near Denton Airport [Video]

On Wednesday morning, the Denton Fire Department reported a small plane crashed north of Denton Enterprise Airport off Jim Crystal Road.

It was a single-engine Piper PA-28 Cherokee that went down in a field after losing power. There was no noticeable damage. Officials say that the pilot was the only person on board and no injuries were reported.
