New Orleans police make arrest in deadly hit-and-run [Video]

The New Orleans Police Department has arrested a man accused in a deadly hit-and-run in West Lake Forest. The hit-and-run happened on April 20 in the 8500 block of the Interstate 10 Service Road, according to police. The NOPD announced Monday that Seth Anthony West was arrested in connection with the hit-and-run. Last week, police said they were looking for the driver of a red Nissan 370Z that collided with the victim, a woman, as she was walking on the eastbound shoulder of the roadway. The driver of the Nissan drove away without stopping, according to police.NOPD said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect’s car was found by NOPD on Sunday, and West was taken into custody.
