Teachers share thoughts on increase in student attacks WSOC TV [Video]

CHARLOTTE — When you think of dangerous professions, does teaching make the list?

Teachers are being attacked by students. It’s an industry hazard that’s grown in recent years.

“I think it’s certainly a crisis in our country,” said Dr. Susan McMahon.

Channel 9 polled hundreds of teachers in the Carolinas to learn about their experience with student violence and the consequences they want in place to improve their safety.
