CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and according to the National Organization of Mental Illness, one out of five children in Iowa struggles with mental health.
The Groundswell Cafe in downtown Cedar Rapids hosted a concert to provide support and resources regarding mental health. Mia Bearden spoke with mental health advocates on how singing supports the well-being of young people in Linn County.
