One person in critical condition after shooting in Baton Rouge, officials say [Video]

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — One person was taken to a local hospital in critical condition after a shooting on Tuesday, June 4, according to emergency medical service officials.

They said EMS was called to the scene around 3:30 a.m. and the patient was picked up in the 500 block of Wooddale Boulevard.

EMS was seen leaving the shooting scene with their lights and sirens on. Multiple Baton Rouge Police Department units were also observed near the Savoy Plaza Apartments.

Police were seen with flashlights at the scene.
