“Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke has been in the headlines this week as she opens up about a pair of brain surgeries that she had more than a decade ago.
The 37-year-old, who famously played Daenerys Targaryen on the hit HBO series, reportedly had a pair of brain surgeries, one in 2011 and the other in 2013, after suffering aneurysms.
She told the Big Issue that it altered her “sense of self on such a dramatic level.”
“All of the insecurities you have going into the workplace quadruple overnight,” she said.
Clarke said she feared being fired.
