BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — One person was sent to the hospital after being hit by a car in Baton Rouge over the weekend.
Emergency medical service officials confirm that a pedestrian was hit by a car on Saturday, June 8.
According to EMS, the crash happened around 8:50 p.m. Saturday on Sherwood Forest Boulevard. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said the pedestrian was hit while trying to cross the road.
