Pedestrian hit, killed in Sacramento crash [Video]

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle in Sacramento on Monday.

The Sacramento Police Department said officers responded around 11:30 p.m. to reports of a crash at Arden Way and Heritage Lane. It’s unclear how the crash happened.

A pedestrian died at the scene. The person’s identity hasn’t been released.

The driver remained in the area, according to police. The crash is under investigation.
