Sheboygan officers gift 5-year-old boy a scooter for his birthday after it was damaged [Video]

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WBAY) – Five-year-old Wyatt has ridden his favorite Hot Wheels scooter every day for the past two years up and down the sidewalk in front of his home.

On June 11, just two days before his fifth birthday, Wyatt and his friends visited Kiwanis Park and got a sad surprise.

“They had set all their stuff aside and they went to the bathroom,” Cheyenne Meyer, Wyatt’s mother said. “They played a round of tag and when they came back his scooter was completely destroyed and smashed. They smashed the wheels off. The tubing on it was bent. The handlebars were sideways and it was completely unrideable.”

Wyatt said he was really sad about his scooter being damaged.

“It was like my favorite one I ever rode,” Wyatt said.
