Ex-Patriots WR retires from NFL after 3 seasons [Video]

Tre Nixon announced his retirement from the NFL after just three seasons with the Patriots.

“Football has been a huge part of my life for the past 20 years. I’ll forever cherish the memories and relationships I’ve made while playing this game,” the wide receiver posted to Instagram on Monday. “I am truly grateful for everyone who’s supported me along this journey and I’m excited for what God has in store for me next.”

Former Patriots quarterback Mac Jones commented on the post, calling Nixon, “one of the hardest workers I’ve played with!” New England safety Brenden Schooler also commented, “proud of you brotha.”
