Molson Coors donates 50,000 cans of water for NW Iowa flood recovery [Video]

SIOUX CITY — As flood recovery efforts continue throughout Northwest Iowa, a multinational brewing company is providing some assistance. 

The Molson Coors Beverage Company recently announced a donation of 50,000 cans of water to aid relief work in Sioux City and Spencer which were both rocked by historic flooding in late June. Sioux City’s Riverside area received the brunt of the damage for the Woodbury County seat while at least 40% of homes in Spencer were damaged by floodwaters from the Little Sioux and Ocheyedan Rivers.

“Our water donation program addresses a critical need by providing safe drinking water to those affected by natural disasters,” said Michael Nordman, a senior manager of community affairs at Molson Coors.
