WATERTOWN, Conn. — A man riding a motorcycle was left with a serious head injury after colliding with a car in Watertown Tuesday, according to the town’s police department.
Police said that at 1:20 p.m., first responders including police, the fire department and EMS went to the area of Litchfield Road and Killorin Road after receiving a report about the crash.
Based on preliminary information, investigators determined that a 58-year-old man from Naugatuck was riding a motorcycle and headed south on Litchfield Road when it hit a BMW sedan as it was crossing the road from Plungis Road to Killorin Road.
The man, who police said was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was taken to the hospital for a serious head injury. His current condition is unknown.
The driver of the BMW was not injured.
