SEÁN KELLY looks set to lead Galway out in an All-Ireland SFC final for the second time after being named to start in Sunday’s clash with Armagh.
The Tribe skipper, who has been given the nod to partner Paul Conroy at midfield, was forced off through injury during the first half of his side’s quarter-final win over champions Dublin last month.
And despite being included in the starting XV that was announced for the showdown with Donegal a fortnight ago, Kelly has not featured since the dethroning of the Dubs.
Speaking after the Moycullen man returned to training last week, Galway boss Pádraic Joyce said: “He probably wasn’t fully ready the last day so we’re hoping to get another two weeks into him and we’ll check him out.
“Hopefully he’ll be available for some sort of time anyway.”
