Chris Jones ‘making progress’ after injury threatened to ruin Kansas City Chiefs training camp for second straight year [Video]

FOR the second year in a row, Chris Jones’ training camp isn’t exactly going to plan.

Having sat out in 2023 as he pushed for a new contract, this time Jones‘ absences have been down to injuries.

After suffering a groin injury early in camp, Jones later suffered a shoulder tweak on August 5.

Thankfully for Chiefs fans, the outlook is promising for the five-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle.

Head coach Andy Reid recently told reporters Jones is “making progress,” adding that the same was true for wideout Jaaron Hayek who is also dealing with a shoulder injury.

Elsewhere, wideout Marquise “Hollywood” Brown has begun his recovery after suffering a sternoclavicular dislocation during their 26-13 preseason-opening loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
