2024 High School Football Previews: Burns [Video]

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – If you pulled up to a Burns High School Football game late into the 2023 season, you may be asking, where are all the players? The Broncs were devasted by injuries, fielding just 18 players at one point. But this season, they are rested and reloaded.

Going into the 2024 season, Burns is fielding their biggest team in the past decade.

“We’ve got 39 right now,” Head Coach, Travis Romsa, said. “Last year, I recruited, tried to recruit kids and it was tough to get kids out. But over the spring and summer, we really worked on trying to get kids to come out for football”

The players are sharing an excitement to have a full and healthy team at the start of the season.
