The suspect of a Marion, North Carolina, convenience store robbery turned himself in after calling the cops on himself.(Video above: WYFF News 4 Evening Headlines)Around 5:45 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, the Marion Police Department was called to a robbery at Samir’s Convenience Store #4 at 1252 Rutherford Road in Marion.According to a preliminary investigation, an unknown man wearing a black hoodie and gray pants entered the gas station and approached the clerk behind the counter. The suspect told the clerk he needed all the money from the register, to which the clerk gave him $115. After receiving the cash, the suspect exited through the front door and left the area.Within minutes, officers arrived and began to search the area for the suspect.
