A cookout for First Responders [Video]

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – North Pointe Health and Rehabilitation kicked off Memorial Day Weekend early by hosting a cookout for First Responders.

North Pointe came together with Trend Health and Rehab, Popular Springs Nursing Center, and Compassus Hospice to provide a free meal for all of our First Responders.

On the menu were hamburgers and hot dogs, followed by chips and cookies, and refreshments as well.

“We wanted to put this event together to honor first responders, EMS and law enforcement. In the field that we’re in, we have to have such a close relationship with those fields as well. And so we wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to them. They make such sacrifices on a daily basis to keep our community safe. And I don’t think there’s anything more honorable than that.” said administrator at Trend Health & Rehab of Meridian, Colby Pinson.
