CRIVITZ, Wis. (WBAY) – On Saturday, “A Run to Remember” was held at the Crivitz Community Veterans Park.
Organizers tell us it raised over $7,800. The memorial event was held to honor all veterans who’ve lost the battle to PTSD by suicide.
The money raised benefited H.O.O.A.H. Wisconsin, which is an organization that works to prevent veterans’ suicide.
Activities wrapped up around 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. The event also hosted other organizations that help veterans cope with and overcome PTSD.
