‘A Taste for Life’ returns to Louisville [Video]

Tickets are $50 and all proceeds will go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Louisville and the Pete Foundation.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Five years ago, famed chef and TV-personality Anthony Bourdain tragically took his own life.

In response, chefs around the world declared June 25 ‘Anthony Bourdain Day,’ and here in Louisville, “A Taste for Life” was born.

The goal is to offer support for local restaurants and the community to raise awareness about mental health.

This Sunday, 45 chefs will be serving up some new and popular items on their menus.

Four Pegs’ owner Chris Williams said this event helps the restaurant community come together.
