AAA: Pack an emergency kit before traveling [Video]

BOISE, Idaho — As more drivers hit the road, traveling thousands of miles throughout the United States, AAA Idaho wants drivers to pack a vehicle emergency kit as anything can happen while on the road.

“When the unexpected happens, we sometimes end up kicking ourselves for not being prepared,” AAA Idaho public affairs director Matthew Conde said. “It pays to take a close look at our emergency kit this time of year and ensure that we have the important items covered.”

AAA officials also urge drivers to remain vigilant as Memorial Day weekend marked the start of the “100 deadliest days.“
