ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An Abilene woman was booked into the Taylor County Jail over the weekend for allegedly threatening another person with multiple weapons.

The Abilene Police Department (APD) told KTAB/KRBC they were called out to an Abilene Heights area neighborhood in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 8 about a domestic disturbance. This is where officers arrived to find Leslie Shubert and at least one other person.

Shubert was accused of threatening another female with a baseball bat while holding a firearm.

Shubert was charged with 2nd degree Felony Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. She remains in the Taylor County Jail on a $45,000 bond.
