Grief comes in many forms, and for the loved ones of Adam Bagley, it took on the form of dance.

On June 7, more than 100 friends, family and fellow Crossfitters came out to the Ix complex in Charlottesville for “Dance Another Day;” — a party to raise support, awareness and funds for suicide prevention in honor of Bagley, an 18-year-old senior at Monticello High School who took his life on March 17.

The all-ages dance party was organized by Crossfit Sports Performance & Rowing Center, a local gym where Bagley, along with his mother and stepfather, Janeen and Frank Wisnieski, exercised.

“We didn’t want it to be sad; we wanted to celebrate Adam. As a gym community, we’re a pretty tightknit family,” Crossfit trainer Lex Esposito told The Daily Progress at the dance. “We really just want people to know that there are people that are here for them, …
