At least one arrest made in connection to Matthew Perrys death, reports say [Video]

(Gray News) – At least one arrest has been made in an investigation stemming from the accidental overdose death of actor Matthew Perry, according to several sources within law enforcement.

The arrest was made Thursday morning in Southern California, several news agencies have reported.

More information on the arrest and charges are to be announced in a news briefing Thursday, according to officials.

Perry was found dead in his hot tub on Oct. 28, 2023, according to the Associated Press. The 54-year-old’s autopsy listed ketamine as the primary cause of death, which was ruled an accident.

Those close to him said Perry was undergoing ketamine infusion therapy to treat anxiety and depression, the Associated Press reported.
