Benton County Relief Fund offers short-term financial assistance [Video]

ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Benton County Relief Fund announced that it is providing short-term financial assistance to Benton County residents affected by the tornadoes that hit Northwest Arkansas.

According to a press release, the fund will also support local nonprofit service providers for their disaster responses for Benton County and all affected communities.

Households in Benton County that were directly impacted by the May 26 storms and make $125,000 or less annually are eligible for the fund. Residents will also receive customized resource plans that will connect them to as many resources as possible.

FEMA disaster center update

Benton County says FEMA has plans for two centers for disaster assistance in the county.

A FEMA Moblie Registration Intake Center has opened at Falling Springs Chruch Decatur.
