Bihar: Two Missing As Boat Carrying Farmers Capsizes In Ganga River, Search Op Underway [Video]

Two individuals were reported missing after a boat capsizing incident occurred in the Ganga River near Mahavir Tola village in Bihar’s Maner district on Sunday morning. According to police sources, the boat, carrying approximately 10 to 12 farmers, capsized as it approached the Mahavir Tola ghat. All other people on the boat managed to swim to safety.

According to Sunil Kumar Bhagat, the head of the Maner police station, the boat was ferrying farmers along with their vegetables when the mishap occurred. While most passengers successfully reached the shore, efforts are ongoing to locate the missing individuals identified as Bijendra Kumar Rai and Ranveer Kumar, both residents of Naga Tola Ward No. 4.
