Brown County Sheriffs Office holds 10th annual Missing Persons Awareness event [Video]

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – For the past ten years, Marsha Loritz, has been hosting an event, for families of the missing, teaming up with the Brown County Sheriff’s office as a way for people sharing a similar grief to connect.

“It’s our hope that these families will feel the love and support here and have that opportunity to have their loved one remembered and to raise awareness in the community reminding people who is missing in Wisconsin,” Loritz says.

Loritz organized a missing person’s support group after her own mom went missing 11 years ago. She’s one of the more than 230 faces on a collage of known missing persons across the state. Also shown, is the son of Deb Hietpas, who’s been missing five years.
