Twin Falls Fire Department stated the public should stay away from the area to allow crews access.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho — A fire burning in the Snake River Canyon near Twin Falls caused the Twin Falls Fire Department to issue a safety concern to the public, urging them to avoid the Devil’s Corral area. Multiple fire departments are monitoring the active fire.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is leading the fight against the fire and has resources on site. The Rock Creek Fire Department is also on the scene on the south side of the canyon.

The fire is burning four miles northeast of Twin Falls and had scorched 38 acres by Tuesday evening.

“To ensure that emergency vehicles have the necessary access, please avoid this area if possible,” Twin Falls Fire stated in a Facebook post.
