Sex assault squad detectives have charged a Perth teacher with child sex offences dating back to 2021 and 2022.

WA Police say he had worked at various schools as a relief teacher and sports coach throughout regional WA and the metropolitan area.

The 28-year-old man from Darlington was charged with 10 counts of sexually penetrating a child over 16 under their authority and one count of indecent dealing.
