Central Pa. student winners announced in annual safe driving competition [Video]

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), South Central PA Highway Safety, the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association (PMTA), and other safety partners held the annual Youth Safe Driving Competition at the Capital Area Intermediate Unit (CAIU) in Summerdale on Wednesday.

Camp Hill High School won the competition. Individual student winners were:

First place, Cole Nelson from Camp Hill HS (550 out of 685 points)

Second place, Jimmy Quinlan from Camp Hill HS (520 out of 685 points)

Third place: Atticus Renault from Carlisle HS (512 out of 685 points)

Youth from school districts in Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, and Perry counties competed against each other to see who is the “best of the best” as role models for safe driving, a press release said.
