CLIFTON, Colo. (KREX) — Today, Mesa County cut the ribbon on the long-awaited Clifton community center.
The new center is located in Clifton, off of D 1/2 Road, in the same parking lot as the Clifton library.
Back in the 80s, Mesa County built multiple community centers. Unfortunately, the economy crashed before Clifton and Debeque could get a community center. Now, Clifton along with Debeque will finally get their own community centers too.
The new Clifton community center will be available for the community to rent out or sign up for any of their programs. The community center is now open to the public and is offering summer camp and other programs!
