Raritan Valley Community College’s Student Occupational Therapy Assistant Association helped renovate an inclusive playground at The Midland School in Branchburg on June 8, according to news release.

The students repainted equipment at the school’s Rainbow Playground while two businesses made donations, according to the news release. Lowe’s in Flemington generously donated six gallons of outdoor paint and paint brushes and Home Depot in Bridgewater contributed a deck box.

“The partnership between RVCC’s SOTAA program and community settings, such as The Midland School, underscores the importance of community collaboration and service,” said Kim Meany, academic fieldwork coordinator and the association’s advisor at the community college. “We are truly proud of our OTA students and their commitment to the OTA program, RVCC and the OT profession.”
