Cowboys Bolster Defensive Line With New Additions Carl Lawson and Jordan Phillips [Video]

The Dallas Cowboys are addressing their defensive line after losing Sam Williams to a torn ACL. The team announced the signing of both Al-Quadin Muhammad and Shaka Toney earlier this month, but the team has not stopped.

When Muhammad and Toney were brought in for a workout, the Cowboys also welcomed former New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals defensive end, Carl Lawson. Now, Lawson is officially being added to the team.

To add even more potential juice to the defensive line, the Cowboys are also trading for defensive tackle Jordan Phillips.

Phillips initially began his career with the Miami Dolphins when he was drafted No. 52 out of Oklahoma. He spent the 2015-18 seasons with the teams, appearing in 48 games and starting 26.
