Crash on Interstate 295 causes lane closures north and south [Video]

TOPSHAM, Maine — Maine State Police posted on social media that a commercial vehicle accident caused both north and south lanes on Interstate 295 to be closed, causing delays Thursday morning. 

According to officials, the driver was not hurt after crashing into the median.

The accident happened at mile marker 35 on Interstate 295 in Topsham, police reported. 

Police wrote in the post that crews were working to remove the vehicle.
