Dad Remembers Daughter Who Died After Badminton Racket Accident [Video]

The father of a New Jersey girl who died after an accident involving a badminton racket is remembering his daughter’s dynamic personality.

Lucy Morgan, 6, was playing outside while on a family vacation in Maine on Sunday, June 1, when she was struck in the head by her 10-year-old brother’s racket, according to a news release from the Maine State Police. The 6-year-old later died at a medical center in Portland.

Jesse Morgan, Lucy’s father, previously described the incident in a blog post as a “freak accident.”

Speaking with Fox News, the father of four said his daughter had a “very bubbly” personality, but could also be “reserved at times.”

“Once you got to know her, she was very, very outspoken and a lot of fun. She was a tough kid,” he said.
