Dover Doors & Windows continues business after fire at its Flint location | Local [Video]

FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – Fire crews responded to a fire Tuesday morning at the Dover Doors & Windows facility on Tobias and Grand Traverse.

When crews responded, they found flames shooting up from the building.

“When I walked down and saw, it was really, really ablaze,” said Flint Resident Sharron Shook. “I could hear little explosions in there. It wasn’t like a car, but maybe chemicals because you could hear something,” said the woman who has lived near the business for years.

When the owner, Chuck Richards, got to his business after receiving the call, the sight was surreal.

“Your heart sinks a little bit, but you just rush down there to try and take it all in,” recalled Richards. “It was on the overwhelming side, seeing it,” he said.
