It’s been over six years since the horrific mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. Dr. Morgan Jean Craig Belknap is a Route 91 survivor who has channeled her healing process into becoming a Doctor of Social Work and a licensed family therapist. She calls herself “The Doctor in Cowboy Boots” and has just published a collection of poems called “Retired Boots.” She discusses this book of poetry, and how her own experience with trauma led her to help others on their healing journeys.
