Dubuque animal shelter raises money with annual pet supply sale [Video]

DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) – The Dubuque Regional Humane Society is hosting its annual pet supply sale to help pet owners and the thousands of animals the shelter cares for each year.

They’re selling hundreds of items for pets such as toys, clothes, leashes, and grooming products. Cede Angel, the director of marketing and community engagement for the shelter, said the event raises thousands of dollars, all of which goes towards making sure they can continue helping animals in need.

“The main thing is, a lot of these items are priced at a great price that you won’t be able to find online or shopping brand new. So it’s a really great way for people to save some money while giving back to a really great cause, because it is coming back to the shelter and the animals,” Angel said.

The sale continues on Sunday, June 2, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
