Emmerdale could see more than one exit from the ITV soap after Ethan Anderson (played by Emile John) was arrested and Nicky Milligan’s (Lewis Cope) life hangs in the balance – and his parents are out for revenge.

Ethan, who was involved in a drink-driving accident that left his friend Nicky seriously injured, was taken into custody by the police after his own father handed him in. The incident saw Ethan crashing Nicky’s car and fleeing the scene, leaving Nicky unconscious on the road after pulling him out of the wrecked vehicle.

Nicky was rushed to hospital with a severe head injury and brain swelling, and is currently in a coma, with his future uncertain. His distraught parents Ruby (Beth Cordingly) and Caleb Will Ash) are eager to find out who abandoned their son, both seeking vengeance.
