Essex County under a heat advisory until Tuesday evening [Video]

A heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 3:27 p.m. in effect until Tuesday at 8 p.m. for Essex County.

The weather service comments, “Heat index values up to 99 degrees.”

“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” explains the weather service.
