NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is on the scene of a fatal vehicle crash that has I-610 closed.
All lanes at the I-10/I-610 West split are closed at Elysian Fields Avenue. Traffic is being diverted to Elysian Fields Avenue. Congestion has reached the I-10/ I-610 split.
This came soon after a separate accident had I-10 eastbound closed for several hours. It reopened just as the I-610 accident happened.
