FDNY: One injured when vehicle overturns on Staten Island [Video]

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An individual was injured in a motor vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Mariners Harbor.

The FDNY responded to a call of an overturned vehicle/trauma near the intersection of Forest Avenue and Morrow Street just after 5 p.m. Friday, a spokesperson with the FDNY reported.

One person was transported to Richmond University Medical Center as a result of the incident, the spokeperson said. The condition of the patient is unknown at this time, the spokesperson said.

At the scene, a Honda CR-V could be found upright with extensive damage. Airbags were deployed within the interior.

A tree could be seen uprooted just alongside the damaged vehicle.
