FEMA opens Disaster Recovery Center in Coryell County, Texas [Video]

GATESVILLE, Texas — Central Texans have another resource as they recover from severe storms over the past few months.

According to FEMA, the centers will provide “one-on-one help to Texans affected by the severe storms, tornadoes, flooding and straight-line winds April 26-June 5”.

The Coryell County center will be at Gatesville Junior High School, located at 307 S. Lovers Ln. in Gatesville, TX, stated the agency. All centers are reportedly open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

According to FEMA, residents in Austin, Bell, Calhoun, Collin, Cooke, Coryell, Dallas, Denton, Eastland, Ellis, Falls, Guadalupe, Hardin, Harris, Henderson, Hockley, Jasper, Jones, Kaufman, Lamar, Leon, Liberty, Montague, Montgomery, Navarro, Newton, Polk, San Jacinto, Smith, Terrell, Trinity, Tyler, Van Zandt, Walker and Waller counties can visit any center to meet with FEMA and U.S. Small Business Administration representatives.
