FEMA opens recovery centers in several Ohio counties impacted by tornadoes [Video]

The recovery centers are stationed in Darke, Delaware, Hancock and Miami counties to help residents recover from the tornadoes that touched down March 14.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — After tornadoes led to extensive damages and loss in several Ohio counties two months ago, the Federal Emergency Management Agency announced that they have set up recovery centers.

The recovery centers are stationed in Darke, Delaware, Hancock and Miami counties to help residents recover from the tornadoes that touched down March 14.

FEMA specialists and the U.S. Small Business Administration will be at the centers to help people apply for federal disaster assistance, upload documents and learn how to make their property more disaster-resistant.

The temporary locations and times the centers are open are listed below:

Hours: Mon. May 20 – Fri. May 24, 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. *This center will close Friday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m.
